Led by a director, the College-Specific Gap Analysis (GAP) meeting allows students to see what’s required to achieve their goals before committing to further counseling. In teens, this ability to see and choose encourages much greater independent decision-making, commitment, ownership, self-assurance, and enthusiasm for the college planning journey ahead.

I. Structure

A. Pre-meeting tutorial (45 minutes)

B. Live meeting (60 minutes)

  • Ultimate student evaluation on our proprietary admissions rubric
  • Gap analysis between current status and college goals (across all key admissions criteria)
  • Live modeling of achievement arc to reach goals
  • Admissions questions answered with precision

II. Outcomes

Based on the gap analysis and the time remaining until college application deadlines:

B. Mutual Fit Assessment

Student/family fit is also evaluated for continued counseling (i.e. to ensure the student is engaged, vocal, and not being coerced, sidelined, silenced, or antagonized by parental involvement). We deeply apologize the state of our industry requires this candor.

All Sales Are Final. Services are non-transferable and are for the exclusive use of the customer. The purchase of the services described above does not promise acceptance to any college or university. All sales are final, no exceptions.
Non-transferrabiltiy. This invoice is for one student. It is non-transferable between siblings and it is for the exclusive use of the student it is originally designated for.
Limited Time Tutorial Access. This package includes a single, limited-time access license to one pay-per-view video tutorial which breaks down a college evaluation sheet and the inter-workings of college admissions. Once activated, it is limited-time accessible for 48 hours, although the tutorial video can be completed in 1 hour or less. Additional views after the 48 hours of access has expired will incur additional fees.
Meeting Cancellation Policy for Package Customers: If a student cancels a confirmed meeting at least 24 hours before the start of the agreed upon meeting time, the meeting can be cancelled and rescheduled without penalty. If a student cancels a meeting within 24 hours of the start of the agreed upon meeting time, the meeting will be cancelled and a penalty equal to the amount of $350 (for the 1 hour meeting) will be assessed.
College Evaluation Sheet Component: Included in this package fee is a $100 tutorial, “Change Your Odds, Don’t Accept Them.” This is a pre-requisite watched in advance of the first meeting to introduce the student to a College Evaluation Sheet and prepare him or her to be graded on one during the first session.
